Your bedtime yoga is a blessing and I am really, really enjoying them. Every week I look forward to it and I don't make any plans that evening. It's "my evening" for self-care, for self-love. An evening when I stop the world and the world is mine. Straight after, I get ready for bed all relaxed and I read. I don't check my phone or use any technology, and it's great! Maria, Hebden Bridge
5 week Online Course Starts Thursday 1st February 2024, 8pm
As winter slowly draws towards a close we will savour the quietness just before spring arrives, embracing the opportunity to rest and regenerate a little longer. How we rest during winter informs how we awaken in the springtime, so this Bedtime Yoga course will have a special focus on wintering, and the return of light, hope and growth as spring arrives.
As the earth pivots and the northern hemisphere of the earth turns back towards the sun we will notice the small changes around us and emerge into the coming of spring.
Join from the comfort of your own home, arrive in your pjs (cameras will be automatically off as you enter into zoom-land), bring a bedtime drink, light a candle, and be guided through a calming bedtime routine to help you release stress and tension from the day and prepare for deep sleep. Bedtime stories, special bedtime nidras, meditations and lullabies - all specially designed for this time of year - will be woven throughout these sessions to comfort and soothe before bedtime.
When & Where Join live on Zoom, every Thursday from 1st February, 8-9pm
You are encouraged to prepare your space by turning off your phone, turning down the lights, lighting a candle, using some soothing oils in a diffuser or diluted on your skin, and preparing your bed so that it is cosy for you to slip into for the closing story / nidra, or after the session has finished.
1st February 8th February 15th February 22nd February 29th February
The Bedtime Yoga course was an absolute treat and act of self nurturing for me when I really needed it. I found the weekly sessions so calm and healing and looked forward to the connection with Gillian and the group every week. Creating a calm space, lighting candles and snuggling up, holding the postures and listening to the stories was so restorative and felt like a gift to myself. Catherine
