Gillian's sessions are like nothing I have experienced before. Yes, there is the physical element of yoga with challenging sessions, but there is also a profound connection with your inner self, an awareness of internal organs: body and mind coming together at different levels. Add to this the occasional and wonderful story-telling plus nidra, yin and meditation, and you have a real winner. Strongly recommended. The first time in 56 years I am keeping regularity in my practice. Carmen
I honour and respect the Indian roots of yoga, whilst recognising that it has become a globalised practice. I strive to understand better the context of the yoga practices I offer, whilst acknowledging that this will be limited by my privilege, language and cultural difference. I strive to listen, at every opportunity, to the voices of South Indian practioners' experiences and knowledge. I acknowledge the presence of white supremacy, including within the yoga world, and I strive to be anti racist. I welcome feedback and discussion.
